While we can not wait to see your faces, the City of Boston has reinstated an indoor mask mandate for all Boston public settings. Please expect to wear a mask throughout the event, execpt when actively eating or drinking. Of course, please come vaccinated! If you are not vaccinated, please test nagative to ensure we can all celebrate safely.

Our Story

We met in 2013 thanks to our mutual friends, Billy and Steph. After meeting at Lounge 6B in Boston, Roy waited 3 days to call Julie. We went on our first date at 75 Chestnut in Beacon Hill (Julie was very late), took a stroll through the Boston Common, and had a nightcap at Stoddard’s. Roy again waited 3 days before calling Julie for a second date.

Over the next few years, we conquered the many milestones of any relationship: traveling together, moving into our first apartment, rescuing our dog Rodney, leasing a car, and even buying a condo. Oh and, surviving a pandemic!

In April 2019, after dinner back at 75 Chestnut, Roy shocked Julie by proposing in Boston Common, again on the way to drinks at Stoddard’s. Even more of a surprise was the group of our closest friends waiting with champagne to celebrate!

We’re so excited to start the next phase of our story together and can’t wait to celebrate with you in September!
